  1. Great analysis. India would have won had they batted first. Agree that Ishant Sharma should go. We need some good test spinners for India. There is no good test spinner after Ashwin. Lot of focus on shorter formats.

    1. Another aspect of the game that is not talked about is, the Indian batsman are becoming divas. We had great batsman always willing to bowl example, Sachin, sehwag, Ganguly etc. We need batsman that should bowl parttime.

  2. I think Kohli needs to take ownership and stop behaving so aggressively.. sometimes his decisions backfire and it shows and he doesn’t even acknowledge or take accountability..

The boys did really well when he wasn’t around in Australia with them
In a nutshell I don’t find him someone who can perform under pressure

    1. He doesn't seem like a good mentor. A leader should be a good mentor. The team under him does not have the freedom to be themselves. He and shastri are overpowering the others.

    2. I think it's time to have Kohli as captain in T20s and ODIs, while Rahane captains the test side

  3. Very good analysis. Keep going. Need genuine all rounder and also part time bowlers.

  6. I think the pitch played spoilsport in the 1st test. It was a tough task for Ashwin and taking 5 wickets in that flat pitch was commendable. We gave too many runs in the 1st innings and we lost it there. Same thing happened when India batted 1st inning and scored tons of runs.
